Subliminal Intent

Subliminal Intent focuses on the perception of images which evoke emotional responses. Various imagery is juxtaposed with text focusing causing the viewer to have the opposite feeling in context to the video they are seeing. [April 2006]

Without A Face

Without A Face is a painting of a faceless man. A video projection is overlayed on the painting giving him a face of sorts. These ideas and thoughts we have sometimes become our face, appearing as our outward image. [April 2006]

American Dreams

American Dreams is based off an idea I had that every American at some point in their life wants to become President. President John F. Kennedy is known for many things, most notably his assassination during a parade in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 by Lee Harvey Oswald. I believe both men had aspirations to hold the office of President, only one reached it.

This sculptural video piece contained a model of the 1961 Lincoln Continental Four-door convertible limousine on a rotating platform and two video monitors with headphones for viewing/listening.

Working closely with Aaron Hutcheson a soundtrack was developed, which contains a sample from Rage Against The Machine. [April 2006]

Reiteration

Reiteration shows a building being demolished, accompanied by a soundtrack of annoying nosies, and seamlessly being rebuilt. The video parallels the everyday challenges of ones life. Fall down. Rebuild. Repeat. [April 2006]
