The UnEpic Trilogy

The UnEpic Trilogy are large format prints of landscape photographs, showing a beautiful and lush terrain. These are all screen shots from the Lord of the Ring trilogy of films and contained no characters and minimal CGI. The films were so heavily-ladened with computer generated imagery that is hard to imagine the landscapes appearing in nature. By doing this I have taken the viewer out of filmmaking mode and into the reality that exists without leaving the confines of the media.

Each print is sixty-four inches by fourty-four inches. [April 2009]
